Reconcilation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of the most unique and beautiful aspects of Catholicism. Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, established the Sacrament, so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God and the Church. The sacrament “washes us clean,” and renews us in Christ.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is ordinarily offered beginning at 3:30 P.M. just prior to the 4:00 P.M. Mass on Saturday evenings at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 94 Pine Street, or upon request at any other time.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is also offered beginning at 5:00 P.M. just prior to the 5:30 P.M. Mass on Saturday evenings at Immaculate Conception Church at 30 N. Fullerton Ave., or upon request at any other time.
